THE FESTIVAL
Saturday 14th September 2024 – 1pm-6pm
A fun day of workshops, sabre games, sharing of forms, and friendly-sparring. SSCA workshops will include; Referee Training, and Technical Sword Sessions, and we invite other clubs to offer any workshops they’d like to hold as well. We’ll also operate a friendly-sparring zone for our students and guests to play and learn from each other.
THE TOURNAMENT
Sunday 15th September 2024 – 9am-5pm
You guessed it, this will be the day of reckoning, with a fun new layout and some tweaks to replace the typical pool format! Registrations will kick off at 9am, with the tournament starting at 10am. Who will knock our man Ben off of his 2023 pedestal, and become the first SaberFest Hero!?…
LOCATION
Leon Paul Fencing Centre, Unit 19, Garrick Industrial Estate, Irving Way, Hendon, London, NW9 6AQ, England.
Food and drinks will be made available across the weekend. And we’ve brought the dates forward 6 weeks, so it will be warmer within the centre!
INFO FOR FIGHTERS
There will be space for 30 fighters this year, so for the time being we will limit clubs to 4 fighters each, plus a reserve list should spaces become available. Priority for extra spaces will go to Saber Accords members. Non-club affiliated fighters will also be welcome, but will need to be assessed for safety by one of our main referees on the Saturday or Sunday morning, before registration.

Tourney Spectators – £5
All fees are payable on the day, and will go towards the cost of the venue hire and refreshments for all ticket holders.

SaberFest is an opportunity for clubs to get together for friendly matches, tournaments, workshops, referee training, performances and more! Whilst the core practice revolves around the use of the LED Sabre, SabreFest also ventures into archery, historical weapons, and even unarmed martial arts!
